Brendan Rodgers: There was "no embarrassment" about Celtic's defeat to Lincoln Red Imps

Rodgers' first game as Celtic manager ended in defeat

Brendan Rodgers couldn't have asked for an easier first fixture as Celtic manager when his side were drawn with Lincoln Red Imps in the Champions League second qualifying round.
The Scottish giants were widely expected to trounce their Gibraltan semi-pro opponents, even if it wasn't on home soil.
And yet, incredibly, Celtic slumped to an embarrassing 1-0 defeat.
Lee Casciaro was the hero, his second-half strike just after the break securing Lincoln an historic victory.
Rodgers was quickly panned on social media after Celtic suffered arguably their worst ever defeat, with the Northern Irishman's post-match interview equally as hilarious.
